Le’Vada Gray, Educator and Writer

I appreciate you checking out my blog. My name is Le’Vada Gray, and I have been an educator for almost 20 years. I began Black Girl Math blog about a year ago to share my experiences as a culturally responsive teacher to improve access to mathematics for Black students. My goal is to post monthly with a summer break.

I have served as an administrator, classroom teacher, and as a K-12 culturally responsive coach in literacy, mathematics, and science. In my current role, I develop comprehensive professional learning plans for mathematics and science instruction in partnership with school district leadership teams. I also provide and support consultants with K-12 professional learning for district and school leaders, coaches, and teachers across the country.
