Thanks for joining me on my new project to take a deeper look at connecting culturally responsive mathematics to increase successes for Black students in mathematics classrooms. I will share my own mathematics journey and connect with other educators on this project. I have spent more than half of my 20-year career in education focused on supporting leaders and teachers with improving outcomes and opportunities for Black students in mathematics. Now it’s time to write about where it all begins…in the classroom.
